Krista Soste, LPC

Hi, I am Krista Soste and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor with over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents and adults. I began my practice in Toronto where I was the Senior Art therapist working with survivors of the holocaust and victims of trauma and domestic violence.

I have expanded my non-verbal approach with intersubjective and psychodynamic methodologies. Utilizing both non-verbal and verbal techniques through spontaneous art and poetry, I draw on the collaboration that takes place in the therapeutic relationship as the core to being the change agent. Whether life’s daily stressors or past fears and conflicts have caused emotional distress, I believe individuals, given a supportive and nurturing environment, can heal their pain and can discover their strengths achieving their fullest potential.
