Meet Marc

Marc’s journey in counseling began in 2001 when he became a certified Drug and Alcohol counselor for several years. Since then, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Health Sciences in 2023 from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Grand Canyon as well.

Through his professional and personal experiences in counseling, Marc has come to understand that therapy allows each client the opportunity to address current and past challenges and find personal growth. Marc understands that everyone is unique, and embraces diversity and strives to support each individual’s journey in life. He has made a commitment to become dedicated to providing effective, ethical, and compassionate counseling services.

Desert View Counseling often offers individual therapy with Behavioral Health Paraprofessionals & Interns.  These are highly vetted clinicians who are completing rigorous coursework through a university and are placed under supervision in a clinical setting.  Clinical internships are long-term placements (generally 8 months) and offer the benefit of reduced rates to the client while interns receive hands-on training and supervision before becoming fully-licensed practitioners. Dottie Anderson, LCSW personally selects and supervises all clinical interns at Desert View Counseling and Consulting.
