Hi, I’m Scott and I am a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arizona. I have a master’s degree in forensic psychology and a master’s degree in licensed professional counseling. I have been a therapist since 2019. As a therapist my first goal is to create a safe, supportive environment for my clients. Building a solid rapport helps clients feel secure with sharing the stories and situations that they may be carrying. Trauma happens to everyone, and it can be difficult to move beyond. Giving clients a voice and letting them tell their stories can help them to start the healing process and help them to become the person that they want to be.

I am passionate about helping adolescents and young adults understand that they are not alone in their struggles. I have experience with substance abuse, childhood trauma, anxiety, anger, depression, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse, and emotional dysregulation. We are all different with our struggles and I understand that everyone might need something different when it comes to help. I use different modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), Sand Tray, Art therapy, and motivational interviewing.
