Mollie Shannon Rama, MA, LMT, LAC is a Licensed Associate Counselor, and master’s level clinician with over 12 years of experience with specialties in addressing PTSD, relationships, and behavioral issues.
At the beginning of her 12-year career, she has experienced working with the seriously mentally ill (SMI) population with the Maricopa County Superior Court as well as in a clinical setting. Mollie is proficient in working with individuals, children, families, and couples, and facilitating self-help, structured, and court-ordered groups. She also holds an advanced-level certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which addresses trauma, behavior, phobias, anxiety, depression, OCD, addiction, grief, and more. She is proficient in applying client-centered, solution-focused, cognitive, and behavior modifications. Mollie has completed two master’s degrees. One is in Human Behavior and the other is in Professional Counseling. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and an associate degree in University Studies. She also holds a license in massage therapy to better understand human anatomy and how stress and mental illness affect the physical body of humans.
Mollie is in the process of furthering her education in Somatic Therapy. A somatic therapist helps people release damaging built-up emotions in their bodies by using various mind-body techniques.
